Forza Horizon 5 PlayStation: Road Racing Event Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Road Racing Events in Forza Horizon 5 span 35 confirmed locations across two world areas — 25 in Mexico and 10 in Sierra Nueva — covering everything from tight street circuits around Guanajuato to the sprawling Goliath, which loops around the entire Mexico map in a single lap.

All 35 are included across Map Master's Mexico and Sierra Nueva interactive maps for FH5.

Unlocking Road Racing: Tulum Expedition First

Mexico's Road Racing Events unlock after completing the Tulum Expedition, which builds the Horizon Apex Outpost and earns the "Far from the Mudding Crowd" Bronze trophy.

This is the same Expedition that unlocks the El Camino Horizon Story — completing Tulum opens both Road Racing and El Camino simultaneously.

Sierra Nueva's 10 road events are available through the Rally Adventure DLC Apex Predators team.

Two Mexico Race Formats: Circuits and Sprints

• Circuits (13) — looped tracks that return to the starting gate: Bahía De Plano, Emerald, Horizon Mexico, Arch of Mulegé, Playa Azul, Los Jardines, Tierra Próspera, Estadio, Plaza, Cathedral, Bola Ocho, Chihuahua, and Lookout Circuits.

• Sprints (10) — point-to-point routes across Mexico's road network: Dunas Blancas, Descansar Dorado, Reservorio, Sierra Verde, Llanuras, Gran Pantano, Volcán, Copper Canyon, Panorámica, and Riviera Sprints.

Two Horizon Finale Events: The Goliath and The Colossus

The Goliath — the ultimate race event in Forza Horizon 5, a single lap around the entire Mexico map covering roughly 56 miles. Winning earns the "Long Gone" (Bronze) trophy — the only Mexico Road Racing Event with its own dedicated PS5 trophy. Unlike previous Forza Horizon games where The Goliath was gated until very late in the campaign, FH5 makes it accessible early once Road Racing is unlocked — you can attempt it the moment the Tulum Expedition is complete.

The Colossus — another Horizon Finale road race, covering a massive circuit across multiple biomes. Unlocking either The Goliath or The Colossus (or any of the other Horizon Finale events) earns the "Viva Horizon!" (Bronze) trophy.

Sierra Nueva: The Apex Predators' Road Events

Sierra Nueva's 10 road races are the Apex Predators team events — Alejandra's asphalt-focused squad whose events all run on paved roads through Sierra Nueva's canyon, quarry, forest, and mountain terrain: El Bosque (2.7 miles), Quarry Trail (3.2 miles), Canyon Trail, Devil's Pass (4.6 miles), Arzate Sprint (4.4 miles), The Narrows, Senda De Montana, La Cantera, Palm Forest, and Switchback Run.

The Trophy That Needs All of Them: Racing and Pacing

"Racing and Pacing and Plotting the Course" (Gold) — win 80 different Race Events in Mexico.

All 25 Mexico Road Racing Events count alongside Dirt Racing, Cross Country, Street Racing, and Drag Racing.

Winning all 25 Road Racing events contributes 25 of the required 80 distinct race wins — the single largest per-discipline contribution of any event type in Mexico.
